The Inactive Browser Tab extension helps re-engage visitors who switch to another browser tab by displaying a customizable message on the inactive tab. It’s an effective way to capture attention, encourage visitors to return, and keep your store top of mind.
1. How to install the Extension?
Step 1: From your EComposer dashboard, go to CRO Extensions from the left sidebar menu.
Step 2: Search for the Inactive Browser Tab extension.
Step 3: Click Details and install the extension on your store.
Note: When you finish installing the Inactive Browser Tab and finish configuration, it will automatically show when you publish. You can use this extension on EComposer Pro and Premium plans. Upgrade now to unlock
2. Configuring the extension
The extension provides several options that allow you to customize how the browser tab title changes:
- Enable: Turn the extension on or off.
- Tab title: Edit, remove, duplicate, or add text to display in the browser tab.
- Delay time: Adjust the time interval between each tab title change.
- Loop: Automatically repeat the tab title sequence after reaching the last title.
