What should you do if the demo images not showing on frontend?
On this page
When using an EComposer template, you may notice that some images appear in the editor but do not display on your live storefront.
This happens because certain demo images are provided for preview purposes only and cannot be displayed on the live storefront due to copyright restrictions. To display images correctly, replace these demo images with your own.

1. Replace Demo Images
Follow these steps to replace demo images with your own:
1. Open the page in the EComposer editor.
2. Locate the image that appears in the editor but is missing from the live storefront.
3. Hover over the image to check whether it displays the message “This image is for preview only.”
4. Select the image element and upload or choose your own image.
5. Save and publish the page, then check the live storefront.

Tip: Make sure your replacement image is uploaded successfully and displays correctly in the editor before publishing.
2. What If the Demo Image Is a Background Image?
Some demo images are used as background images rather than regular image elements. These images may be harder to locate because they are configured in the settings of a section, row, or column.
To find and replace a background demo image:
1. Open the page in the EComposer editor.
2. Select the relevant section, row, or column.
3. Open its settings and locate the background image option.
4. Check whether the background uses a demo image marked “This image is for preview only.”
5. Replace the demo image with your own image.
6. Save and publish the page, then check the live storefront.

If you cannot find the image, inspect the sections, rows, and columns one by one until you locate the background image setting.
3. Still Need Help?
