What is the difference between the Global block and Section builder?

Have you ever wondered about the difference between Global Block and Section Builder?
In short, both features allow you to create a reusable section and place it in multiple positions on your website. Once updated, the changes will automatically apply everywhere that block/section is used.
The key difference lies in where and how you can add them:
Global Block
- Can be added to pages built with EComposer (it works like an element inside the EComposer editor).
- Can also be inserted into the Content part of Shopify resources (Blog Post, Product, Collection, or Page) using an embedded shortcode.
Note: A Global Block cannot be added via the “Add block” button in Shopify’s Theme Editor.
Section Builder
- Can only be added directly into Shopify pages through the Theme Editor, placed between other sections of the page.
